Care for Grievers

Losing a loved one of the most difficult parts of life. While grief is a totally normal experience, it can feel isolating, overwhelming, and unpredictable. Whether you’re experiencing anticipatory grief, have lost a loved one recently or are navigating grief years later, support is available. My approach honors the individuality of grief, providing a space for you to explore your emotions, find comfort, and discover pathways to healing.

Grief Companioning

  • I’m here to walk alongside you through the wilds of grief. Need to scream, cry, laugh, cuss? Questions about what is “normal”? I’m here for all of it. Each person needs something a little different, and so every session is crafted for your unique needs.

Ritual & Ceremony

  • Together we can craft personalized rituals or ceremonies to mark important moments. This may be an anniversary, a personal milestone, or other significant event. Let’s figure out together how you’d like to honor these moments.

Legacy & Remembrance

  • Gain a team member in creating meaningful ways to honor your loved one. This may look like throwing parties, supporting with life review projects, art making, or other tangible keepsake creation or ideas.

How does grief support work?

Every session is different, but generally we spend part of the time talking (your space share what has been happening, ask questions, and receive support), and part of the time exploring a wellbeing practice together (think yoga, meditation, reiki, therapeutic horticulture). If we are working on a specific project together, we will spend the bulk of our time doing this.

This is your dedicated time to receive care, support, and resources. Grief looks different from moment to moment, and I am here to be in the moment with you. No judgment, no platitudes.

It’s okay to receive support.
